basic update

it's been a while since i've posted, but i wanted to wait until i had some more pics and videos to add, since i'm sure that's why most of you tune in. unfortunately, i don't have any at the moment. the batteries died on the camera and i just keep forgetting to get more. so here's the update without any illustrations.

honestly, not much has happened. we've been rather busy just with day to day stuff. the girls and i have been working on fai's fathers' day and birthday presents (they're on the same day this year). i can't tell you what they are in case he happens to read this before he gets them, but they're really coming along well. after the big day, i'll get some pics of them up here.

mali is now enjoying the walker. she likes to sit in it and bounce around. one of the vids i wanted to show you was one of her in the walker, throwing her hands up and laughing. it's really entertaining. it also means that, even if she doesn't want to take a nap when noe does, i can just sit her in it with baby Einstein on and take a shower before 10 at night! ah, the luxeries for the mother.

i had my first day in primary playing piano last weekend. one would think that playing for children who aren't really listening to the piano anyway would be easy enough...but one would be wrong!! i did horribly! i only played the melody line, but i couldn't even do that right on most of the songs. i have trouble playing when people are singing with me, especially when some were singing so loud that i couldn't even hear the piano myself! this sunday, i have to play in the primary program during sacrament. i've been practicing for the song for a couple weeks now, but i'm sure it won't go well at all! oh, well. i did tell them when they asked me to take the calling that i wasn't very good!

well, i'm off to finish up daddy's gift. i'll be back with pictures soon!
