a day of celebration

yes, i have another celebration to blog, but this one can't possibly backfire on us.

today, both of the girls have really made mommy proud. this morning, noe used the potty three times!! last night, she also poopped in the potty. she's back in her diaper right now from her nap and doesn't want to take it off, so i'm letting her go, but this is a major step forward!!

mali has started saying "dada" today. and she's pulling up on everything and starting to cruise. it's actually really funny because she doesn't crawl much. she moves a bit and sits down and moves a it and sits down. it takes her a while to get across the floor when she's crawling. but she really loves the cruising thing, so i think she's going to give up the crawling gig soon! not too soon, i hope, but i give her about a month, two at the most. she's also trying to share her paci and some toys with me.

we're headed to florida for a week on sunday. i'm pretty excited, but kind of dreading it at the same time. we've never had both kids on a plane before. this could get a bit hectic trying to keep them quiet and happy on our laps for so long. and poor noe is going to spend half of her birthday on a plane, so i don't know how much she's going to feel like doing anything (or how much mommy and daddy will) afterwards.

anyway, that's it for now. we're off to the grocery store this afternoon and then maybe the park (if it doesn't rain).
