mali's best friend

wherever mali goes, whether by walk, crawl or carry, she has a faithful follower...of the four legged variety. i've watched her all morning as she wanders the main floor and it's really quite cute to see her leading her buddy around. wang cai has attached himself to our youngest and is determined to stay that way as long as she continues to spill breakfast on her clothes, have sticky candy residue on her fingers (which she continues to shove happily into his mouth) and finds it amusing to throw him tid bits of food. he endures quite a bit of torture to keep his position as her friend. she pulls his fur, pokes him in the eye, slobers on him, crawls on him, pounds on him, kicks him, picks at his paws, and tries to catch a ride on his tail. i would feel sorry for him, but you must see, he really brings it on himself. and i can't feel too bad for him because since this little gang formed, he's had the worst gas that he shows no qualms about torturing ME with all night. he's lucky she's the only one torturing him.
