christmas getting to know you

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? paper. it's more fun for the kids.
2. Real tree or Artificial? artificial. so much easier and saves money
3. When do you put up the tree? as soon after thanksgiving as i can manage
4. When do you take the tree down? hm...when people start making comments about it being up to long.

5. Do you like eggnog? yes
6. Favorite gift received as a child? hm...i don't know. i always had a favorite every year.
7. Hardest person to buy for? my husband or my grandma
8. Easiest person to buy for? the girls and alec
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? i don't tend to do either. i never get around to it.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? a little indian princess in a canoe...a coworker said it reminded her of me and thought i might like it....?

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? miracle on 34th street, the grinch
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? in december

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? no, but i'm not necessarily opposed to the idea
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? pie and chex mix
16. Lights on the tree? Yes, white lights
17. Favorite Christmas Song? baby, it's cold outside and o'holy night
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? usually we travel, but we're staying home this year
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? yes
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? angel. it's my favorite part of the tree
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? christmas eve for one gift and then the rest in the morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? crowds and lines
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? i like my pink and gold, but i can't say i really have a favorite
24. Favorite thing to do this time of season? looking at the lights and the parties
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? i'm getting a new dining set
