eme's blog debut

so here is the newest addition to the poon chaos. adorable, isn't she? meet emelina wing mei poon, eme (pronounced emma) for short. born april 26th at 12:02 pm, 5lbs 14oz (our biggest one yet!).






things in the poon family are going well. fai's parents have been here for a few months to help out after the baby was born. they are leaving on the 10th, so we're heading to chicago with them to do the tourist thing for a couple days before seeing them off at the air port.

fai and i both have new callings at church for those who don't follow us on facebook. fai is the elders' quorum first councilor and i am the second councilor in the primary. noe has started gynnastics and really loves it (and, of course, is just the greatest little natural athlete!). mali and noe are both pretty good with the baby. eme, herself, has been so far the most difficult infant i've had, but the past couple weeks has seemed to be coming out of her colicky stage and constant fountain of spit up stage. she still poops on me through her diaper and clothes at least once a week (i'll have some funny stories about it if you want to ask me later...i may even post some because, really, if we can't laugh about it, we shouldn't be mothers!). she's growing really fast so, while she looked like a dead ringer for noe when she was born, i think is going to have the same sort of build as mali. she eats like her at any rate! she's a really good sleeper now and easily sleeps from about 10:30 to 5 or 6 in the morning. then she eats and goes back to sleep.

i haven't had to actually be a stay at home mother to three yet, since i've had the in laws here to help. i'm a little nervous about it, to be honest. i may never get a shower again!
