this summer, fai's mom taught the girls to swim. it was really hard for noe at first because she was so scared when it came to getting her head underwater, but by the time nai nai left (that's fai's mom), she was able to swim from one side of the pool to the other without any help! we're so proud of her!
on the other hand, mali started out strong, taking to swimming like a fish to water. but as soon as nai nai and yei yei (fai's dad) left, she suddenly got lazy! she'll jump in and float...but not kick any more. she used to be able to swim almost from one end to the other, but now thinks it's more fun to simply float on her face.
i tried to post a video of the little fish, but blogger isn't letting me for some reason. guess you'll just have to come see for yourselves!
