it's beautiful so cute and charming with ivy growing up part of t. you could just picture lightning bugs glowing around it on a warm, clear evening while the family sat outside together drinking from quaint little mugs and laughing and cuddling. yep, that's my house. unfortunately it has someone else living in it right now, which wouldn't be a huge problem (just a little "convincing" needed) but they also happen to be living in it in the wrong city. my dream house is sitting on a nice lot in kansas city. life's really unfair, isn't it? now everything i see here will be second rate...not that anything here was really blowing my skirt up anyway, right?
we all went to kansas city for a few days this week. fai had to go for work and the girls and i got to tag along. it was supposed to be relaxing and fun for me and the girls. i had looked up things to do that were going to be really fun and i wasn't going to have to worry about cooking and cleaning. well, you know what they say about plans. i was sick (allergies?) the whole time, which meant i wasn't sleeping at night and couldn't breathe during the day. noe wasn't sleeping because her schedule was off and she was in a pack n play, which she absolutely hates. mali started feeling bad once we got there and now, i think, she has an ear infection. so, to sum up, the girls and i stayed in the hotel until daddy got back, with the exception of a quick trip out for some lunch. then we all went to visit a couple he knew from OK for dinner. that was a lot of fun. they were really nice and funny (also with a really cute house...where are all these cute houses when i'm looking?!) and they have a 2 year old daughter who noe got to play with. and that was it. no sight seeing, no cute pictures (the batteries died in the camera), no rest and relaxation because we weren't feeling well and i was very sleep deprived. oh, well. it was worth it just to not have to cook and clean.
well, that's it. hopefully i'll get some good pics at play date this week.
