a day in the sun

yesterday, it was really nice out again, so the girls and i spent most of the day outside. i even took the dog out and tied him up in the front yard to play with us. we played with bubbles and we went for a walk and then, because it was hot and the dog and noe needed a drink, we played in the water from the hose!

i couldn't get any good pics or vids from noe dancing in the hose and trying to drink like the dog, or even of the dog playing in the water and rolling on the ground (i was holding a baby and a water hose, cut me some slack!), but i got some good ones before we started the water play.

afterwards, the girls were pretty exhausted...and so was mommy! so noe actually kicked daddy out of her room halfway through her bedtime story and wanted to go to sleep. then mali fussed for about a minute when she got laid in her crib, but then slept not only through the night, but is still asleep now (1:00 pm the next day!). she woke up at 7 to eat and they was awake for a little while when we went to the doctor, but hasn't seen fit to really stay awake or eat again! the poor baby, though, has tons of mosquito bites on her from yesterday. mommy didn't notice any bugs, but she was sure covered with the bites this morning! :-(
