yes, that's right. i will no longer be forced to put up with the cramped town house in one of the many redneck capitals of jefferson county (did i tell you about the drug bust across the street? or the mysterious bike thefts and vandalous "rearranging" of street signs and boulders?). i will no longer have to stare at dark walls and ugly floors and borders. no more will the girls have to settle for playing inside or have to driven somewhere just to run around due to the lack of a suitable yard. i will be leaving the mardi gras house very very soon!!
i'm so excited to be leaving, but even more than that, i'm so happy with the house we've gotten. it's older (36 yrs old) and has the kind of charm and character that you can't find in newer homes (i know this because i've now seen about 40 houses in the past month and a half...i consider myself an expert now). it's 2600 sf, plenty of room for us and a few more. i'm already planning the house warming party and the improvements (cosmetically, at least) to our home. woo hoo!
another cause for celebration (possibly on the same scale) the girls are now, as we "speak", taking a nap at the same time! of course, this is mainly because mali was up all night and noe is late getting to her nap since i was signing paperwork during her usual time, but, hey, i'll take it! and now i'm off to nap, myself (since i was up with mali all night...she SO needs her own room!) and dream about my Enchanted Forest.
if you would like to see the poon home, you can go to realtor.com and plug in the MLS#
