okay, i've finally gotten some more pictures on, but you'll have to wait until the end of the post to see them!! no videos, though, because they take too long and the girls will probably be up soon.
we're getting close to closing day on the house and we're getting pretty anxious. i'm so ready to be out of the mardi gras house, however i'm kind of going to miss it. not because i've enjoyed the depressing color scheme or that the lack of space and yard and the "wonderful" neighborhood have begun to grow on me, but because it's been good for comedic stories to my friends and family. when i'm in a normal house, what will i talk about? actually, i have two small children, so i'm sure i will be at no lack for inspiration!
mali has just taken off in the past 24 hours with her talking. she's getting louder and has picked up three more sounds. i'm so impressed! i thought she was going to be behind on her language skills, but she's really caught up now!
funny story: yesterday, while i was talking to mom on skype, noe wanted to hold mali. so i put mali in her lap and the baby basically tackles noe and proceeds to give her big sloppy kisses all over her face and neck! noe starts squealing and laughing, mali giggles along between smooches, and, of course, i had to crack up, too. mom, who can't even see it, starts laughing along with us until we're all pretty much in tears! it was so great! unfortunately i couldn't get it on camera because we were on the couch and i didn't want to walk away and risk mali falling off...again. they did it again later, just before bed time, so daddy could see, but, again, i had no camera! i'll try and get it tonight on film if i get the chance. it's the cutest thing, ever!!
okay, that's all i'll make you sit through this time. enjoy the cuteness to follow.
