3am elmo

for those of you who might be wondering whether a movie about a three year old red monster with a passion for singing and baby blankets is more interesting in the pre-dawn hours and are tempted to find out on their own, allow me to save you the trouble: it's not.

noe woke up at 2 throwing up. she has done it twice in the past hour and can't seem to get back to sleep (perhaps it's the smell...that's what bothers me about it!). so i brought her downstairs to cuddle up on the couch and watch "elmo in grouchland", which she's seen about four hundred million times. i have the lights off and her pillow and bear with us, a nice blanket to keep us warm, and the most comfy part of the couch in hopes that she will get relaxed enough by the strangely hypnotizing theatrics of the tickle prone monster that she'll go to sleep with enough time for me to get some shut eye before fai has to get up for work, which always seems to wake up mali.

Sorry she is sick, It's pitiful when they are that little and throwing up because they get suck a sad look on their face. Hope you are able to get some rest today! (Yeah right, I know...)

No fun! Throwing up is my least favorite kind of sick! I hope she feels better and you can get some sleep, no matter how wishful that thinking may be!
